This policy covers the marketing site at https://gethostsy.com only. The Hostsy application at https://hostsy.app is a separate service with its own terms and privacy policy, which apply to anyone who creates an account there.

This site has no forms, no sign-up area and no automated collection of data for commercial purposes. We process only:

• Data you send us yourself — if you write to hello@gethostsy.com or to the address above, we process your name, email address and the content of your message, including any information you choose to include.
• Technical access data — our hosting provider records the IP address, date and time of the request, the address requested and information about your browser and device in the server logs. These logs exist for security and service delivery, and are not used to identify you or to build any profile.

• Responding to contact, information or demo requests — steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract, article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
• Keeping the site secure, available and intact, including abuse prevention — legitimate interests, article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
• Complying with legal obligations to which we are subject — article 6(1)(c) GDPR.

We take no automated decisions and carry out no profiling based on data collected through this site.

We set no first-party or third-party cookies, use no tracking pixels, collect no browsing statistics and store nothing in your browser. Typefaces are served from our own domain, so your visit generates no requests to third-party servers.

Because no information is stored on or read from your terminal equipment, no cookie consent is required and none is requested, under article 5(3) of Directive 2002/58/EC as transposed by article 5(3) of Lei 41/2004 of 18 August. We have deliberately chosen not to display a consent request that would correspond to no actual processing.

If we start using non-essential cookies in future — for visitor statistics, for example — you will be asked for prior consent, refusing will be as simple as accepting, no non-essential cookie will be set before you consent, and a preferences panel will let you change or withdraw that choice at any time.

We do not sell, rent or otherwise transfer personal data to third parties for commercial purposes. Data may be processed on our behalf and on our instructions by the following processors:

• Our hosting and content delivery provider, which serves the pages and keeps the technical access logs.

• Technical access logs: up to 12 months, after which they are deleted or anonymised.

As a data subject you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, under articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR.

To exercise any of these rights, write to office@domaincontroller.pt. We will respond within one month, extendable as permitted by law where the request is complex. We may ask for additional information to confirm your identity.

The site is served exclusively over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised destruction, loss, alteration or disclosure.
